Today I went to get the mail and the most exciting thing was there – a package from Bateau Press containing two copies of their Fall/Winter issue of Bateau, a literary magazine in which two of my stories have been published. It’s pale green, with a red/orange-y drawing of some kind of mill, and it’s small. It’s the perfect size and the pages are so smooth and made of recycled paper and soy ink and powered by wind power and it’s perfect.
My first magazine publication, and it’s absolutely perfect.
They have printed two of my short stories, “Love Story” and “Girl on a Train” in Volume 3, Issue 1, and I am very honored to be a part of their publication.
